A street art festival in a disused water treatment plant in Val-de-Marne? This is the artistic and unusual event not to be missed this autumn in the Paris region. To be discovered over two days only, on Saturday October 5 and Sunday October 6, 2024, the "L'usine fait le mur" festival invites 21 street artists for a series of performances on the site of the former Saint-Maur-des-Fossés water treatment plant.

This autumn, street art events are multiplying in the Île-de-France region! While the crypt of the Église de la Madeleine is occupied by several artists, Saint-Maur-des-Fossés (94) hosts the " L'usine fait le mur " festival.

The idea? The town of Val-de-Marne invites some twenty street artists to create live works on the site of the town'sformer water treatment plant . Now disused, the former water treatment plant is exceptionally opening its doors to artists and the public for one weekend only, on Saturday October 5 and Sunday October 6, 2024.

Co-organized with Urban Signature, the event will bring together 21 street artists, including Hopare, Jo Di Bona, Louyz, Raf Urban, Ami Imaginaire, Ardif, Toctoc and Piotre. All of them will be creating live artworks on the walls of the disused building before your very eyes.

This is not the first street art event to be hosted by Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. Last spring, the Val-de-Marne municipality enthralled local residents with the exhibition " Le décryptage de l'art de rue ", also co-organized with Urban Signature.
