Much more than a sound and light show, an exhibition... From December 12, 2024 to July 13, 2025, La Gaité Lyrique will host theimmersive exhibition Pulse, to the rhythm of light and sound. Imagined by studio 1024 Architecture, this installation promises to plunge visitors into a universe where light and sound merge to offer a unique multi-sensory experience. A must-see for art and architecture enthusiasts who like to see the boundaries of reality blurred.
Through a series of light and sound works, 1024 Architecture transforms light into a veritable sculptural material. The exhibition is a playground where the curious are invited to manipulate and interact with the installations. One example is CORE, a monumental piece set to light and music to a six-hour soundtrack imagined by Laurent Garnier. "Light becomes a living, visual material," explain the creators.
This sensory journey also offers the chance to surprise, with captivating installations such as METACHRONAL, a millipede of moving light, or WALKING CUBE, a metal cube that teaches you to dance. Theexhibition also blends video games and music, with collaborative creations such as PUPPET, an interactive synthesizer, or PLAYGROUND, a video game that invites visitors to explore a digital world.
DJ sets will punctuate Pulse, transforming the Gaité Lyrique into a veritable club. All your senses will vibrate at the heart of this avant-garde installation.
