Art Basel Paris: a sculpture exhibition at the Hôtel de Sully in Paris

The Art Basel Paris fair returns to Paris for an even richer third edition. From October 18 to 20, 2024, the Grand Palais welcomes hundreds of galleries and contemporary artists from all over the world, to present the very best of their country's art scene.

This major show is accompanied by a rich and varied program, ranging from conferences to original exhibitions. Outside the walls of the Grand Palais, in museums, cultural venues or well-known sites in the capital, you'll find a wide range of artistic events during this period of celebration of contemporary art.

From October 12 to November 16, 2024, the curious and art-lovers in particular can gather at theHôtel de Sully, to discover a very special exhibition. This year, sculptor Lynn Chadwick is honored in a three-part retrospective exhibition, beginning in Paris, then moving on to New York and Asia.

Art historian Matthieu Poirier's aim was to shine the spotlight on this British artist, with a chronological tour of the major periods in Lynn Chadwick's artistic career. In Paris, nearly 60 works produced between 1947 and 1962 can be admired. From hybrid creatures to experiments with architecture and geometric forms, this first chapter of the retrospective covers the beginnings of the sculptor's career.

The Hôtel de Sully exhibition is also on show at Galerie Perrotin Paris during the same period. Come and (re)discover this fascinating artist during Art Basel Paris!
