Going to the museum, okay, but without the parents. It's done at the Studio 13/16, the studio for teenagers (and older, up to 23 years old) at the Centre Georges Pompidou. The Studio is completely free of charge, no reservations are required and it is open to everyone on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Here, young teenagers and young contemporary artists are brought together throughworkshops, which the artists propose or give. Each quarter, the place hosts a different program, around which three young artists work: at the moment, it is Traversée which is presented in the Studio 13/16, around the question of our identities and origins (social, cultural...).
Apart from the workshops, there is what the mediators call "the autonomous life of 13/16": whether you have a personal project or simply want to discover and learn an artistic technique, the material library is available (painting, linocut, sewing, engraving...), without forgetting the computers with the Adobe software suite. Moreover, every first Wednesday of the month, the technical Wednesdays allow the teenagers to discover a very precise technique, accompanied by an artist! Shall we come to Studio 13/16 soon?
