Nuit des Châteaux returns this Saturday, October 22, 2022 in Paris and the greater Paris region. It's a rare opportunity for history buffs, heritage lovers and the curious looking for new adventures to enjoy nocturnal, often unusual, visits to the heart of Parisian monuments. Castles and other historic sites all over the Paris region are getting in on the act, with programs specially designed for the event. Initiated by Dartagnans, Nuit des Châteaux aims to raise awareness of the importance of preserving our heritage by encouraging monuments to come up with great ideas for outings that will enable visitors to discover these places in a new light.
In Paris, the Théâtre Mogador will be taking part. This famous Parisian theater, located in the 9th arrondissement, was listed as a Monument Historique in 1990. Its construction, initiated by British financier Sir Alfred Butt, gave rise to a venue inspired by the London Palladium, the music hall on the other side of the Channel. Since 1913, the Théâtre Mogador has welcomed Parisians and tourists alike. Now specializing in operettas, revues and musicals, it is a cultural landmark in the Parisian theater scene.
