Embark on a river cruise: Cap sur la Marne

Close to Paris, Cap sur la Marne offers low-cost guided cruises to discover the landscapes, heritage and islands of the Marne, in the company of expert guides.

Departing from the port of Nogent on Saturday April 26, enjoy the themed cruises " Guinguettes en chansons ", " à la découverte des paysages de la Marne " and " au fil de la Marne et de son patrimoine ". Enjoy a walk close to nature

The Bois de Vincennes is waiting to welcome you this April. Stroll through it in an original way, taking advantage of a themed guided walk to observe the wood's birds or wildlife at dusk, discover the trees at the arboretum or delve into the history of the tropical agronomy garden. Alternatively, take the time to breathe during a walk and meditation !

Learn how to fill your baskets with delicious edible plants on a botanical walk in the Bois de Vincennes, or take part in a wild plant gathering in the woods or at the Domaine de Saint-Cloud.

Original! Take part in a nourishing workshop at the Malakoff contemporary art center and cook up a sweet recipe with mushrooms !

The banks of the Marne are just a few RER stations from the center of Paris. Come and stroll along the river or cycle from Joinville bridge to Bry bridge. It's also an opportunity to follow in the footsteps of vanished guinguettes and holiday villas.

In Paris, nature can also be found in the city! Climb to the roof of the Bastille opera house to visit the urban farm, observe the birds in Parc Montsouris, stroll along the coulée verte or take a nature trail from the banks of the Seine to the ^15th arrondissement.

Meet the craftsmen and their know-how

The Journénes européennes des métiers d'art (March 31 - April 6) are back, with exceptional visits to the Prométhée workshop, the Benoît Marcu workshop, cabinetmaker, a guided tour of the history of porcelain, the discovery of Diamantino, master craftsman and filter maker, as well as explanations from a painting restorer and a behind-the-scenes look at an art framing workshop. Les Jourénes des métiers d'art also features urban strolls with 19M Chanel and workshops with HB laque, Gaëlle B and Suivez la flèche.

Discover the secrets of the tapestry world by visiting Séverine's workshop, where she will share her passion for tapestry-making, and theBobin Tradition workshop, which specializes in the restoration of tapestries and delicate textiles.

Finally, push open the doors of the Institut le Val Mandé, where craftsmen perpetuate traditional skills: mulching, caning, upholstery, as well as the manufacture of kokedamas and terrariums.

Other craft-related visits are offered all year round, such as the Association François workshops in Pantin, which focus on couture and fashion.

Heritage tours around me
