The Jardin du Roi de Rome, which encircles the eponymous palace in Rambouillet, is a botanical jewel in an exceptional historical setting. This beautiful French garden was created several centuries ago, in the 19th century, by order of Napoleon I, in homage to his son, the King of Rome. Today, it is a listed historic monument, with astonishing geometric parterres, tree-lined paths and a central pond.
