"Come and see my folie d'Assas, and you'll understand how a man's life can be changed by a pigeon-house, by a tree..." wrote sculptor Ossip Zadkine to a friend. So, for the Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2023, head to the Musée Zadkine to see what all the fuss is about.
Shielded from the view of passers-by and covered with Virginia creeper, just a few steps from the Jardin du Luxembourg, the museum is entered via its marvellous garden of sculptures scattered among abundant vegetation of prunus, maple and birch. And did you know? Some of the sculptures displayed in the garden - Orpheus, the Torso of the Destroyed City - are on the same site as when Zadkine was alive!
On June 1 and 2, 2024, discover this unique and timeless place in the heart of Paris, as artistic as it is bucolic and dreamlike, with a lovely program for the Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2024. Read on for details of this eagerly-awaited event!
