Gennevilliers celebrates the Fête de la Nature 2023: Discover the free and fun program

From May 22 to 28, 2023 in Gennevilliers, the Fête de la Nature awaits you with a whole week of free and diverse activities to raise awareness of environmental issues among young and old.

As part of the Fête de la Nature 2023 in Gennevilliers, we invite you to discover a week of varied activities from May 22 to 28. This event allows the general public to become aware of environmental issues while offering entertaining and enriching activities.

On the program:

  • Tuesday, May 23: Inauguration of the Zen Garden at 4:30 pm. We will discover the Zen Garden, a space that stimulates creativity in a natural setting located at 2 rue Hector Berlioz. Admission is free and no registration is required.
  • Wednesday, May 24: Biodiversity and biking galore from 3 to 5 pm at Parc des Sévines. There are animations for children around soft mobility and biodiversity. From the bike self-repair workshop to the highway code, get ready to pedal! At the same time, a treasure hunt is organized at the Place Jaffeux from 3pm to 5:30pm, with the creation of plant hinges and seed bombs.
  • Friday, May 26: A 0-waste cooking workshop is planned from 2 to 4 pm at the espace des Grésillons. We explore culinary creativity while being ecological. The same day, we discover the flying seed library from 2:30 to 4:30 pm at the shared garden la Main Verte. In the evening, we attend a film-debate around the movie "Secrets toxiques" at the Jean-Vigo cinema.
  • Saturday, May 27: The Chausson park is in celebration from 10 am to 1 pm, with workshops around ecology and soft mobility. In the afternoon, we participate in a friendly animation at the Frères Jardins garden from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, and at the Agrocité from 3 pm to 9 pm, for practical workshops, a musical show and a pizza tasting.
  • Sunday, May 28: To close the week, the Troc'Culture takes place from 10am to 12pm at the Village Market Hall. Books and CD's will be exchanged with the Collectif 0 déchet.

All in all, the Fête de la Nature in Gennevilliers is the ideal opportunity to learn about environmental issues, while having a fun and friendly time. It's time to go green, folks!
