Nuits des Forêts 2024 in the Hauts-de-Seine: good ideas for the 92 region

The famous Nuits des Forêts are back. From June 7 to 16, 2024, the Hauts-de-Seine (92) region is the place to be for unique experiences. Designed to raise awareness of the importance of forests, these Nuits are an invitation to (re)discover and reconnect with nature through various activities: shows, art exhibitions, and other atypical and immersive experiences, day and night.

For the Nuits des Forêts 2024, the Hauts-de-Seine department has concocted a series of captivating events on June 15. Two emblematic sites, Hangar Y and Bois de Clamart, will offer a variety of programs combining nature, culture and well-being.

The Nuit des Forêts 2024 in Hauts-de-Seine :

• Le Hangar Y: "Si la forêt m'était contée" on Saturday June 15

  Meudon's Hangar Y, this historic monument reopened last year, invites the public to discover its wooded park during a day rich in activities. This unique site, home to protected trees and atypical fauna, offers the perfect setting for an artistic and cultural immersion.
  
  The program, entitled "Si la forêt m'était contée", includes:
  
  - Artistic Installations: Works integrated into the natural setting to sublimate the landscape.
  - An immersive experience: A sensory plunge into the heart of the forest.
  - Guided walks: Guided walks to better understand the ecological richness of the site.
  - Lecture-shows in the forest: Open-air literary performances for young and old.
  
  This family event aims to enhance the environmental heritage of Hangar Y and strengthen the link between man and nature.

• Le Bois de Clamart: Well-being and discovery - Saturday June 15
  
  Just outside Paris, the Bois de Clamart offers a breath of fresh air with its vast oak and chestnut forests. For one day, the woods will be the setting for a series of events focusing on the environment and well-being, organized by Thérapies et Mieux-Être and Les petits pois sont verts.
  
  The day's program, from 2pm to 10pm, includes:
  
  
  • Deep Time Walk: a walk to understand the evolution of the forest.
  • Storytelling and "almost true" stories: Enchanting tales for the whole family.
  • Treasure hunt: A fun adventure through the wooded trails.
  • Discover essential oils and wild plants: hands-on workshops to learn about the benefits of plants.
  • Afghan breath harmonization walk: A breathing technique to reconnect with yourself.
  • Zero waste picnic: A convivial way to end the day in an environmentally friendly way.

This year's event promises to be a unique celebration of nature and culture, offering residents and visitors to the Hauts-de-Seine an exceptional opportunity to rediscover their natural heritage and strengthen their connection with the forest. Covering 23% of the Île-de-France region, the forest plays a crucial environmental role, hosting 68% of all biodiversity reservoirs. However, they are increasingly threatened by climate change. So we're going green for these Nuits des Forêts to experience a sensitive and respectful reconnection with our precious nature.
