Following on from the annual Salon de l'Agriculture at the Parc des Expositions, the Festival de la Terre is offering an open-air version on the weekend of September 2 to 3, 2023. For one weekend, the agricultural life of the Paris region takes center stage: a great way to (re)discover how livestock is raised, how fields are cultivated...
Meet the various cattle (and their babies) during animal presentations, discover tractors, combine harvesters and other machinery used to plough, water or harvest cereals in the fields, not to mention the many activities and games on offer throughout the day! Don't miss the tractor race, for example, and for the little ones, it's a chance to try your hand at a funny kind of go-karting, with straw-bale circuits where you have to drive on a pedal tractor! Don't miss a splash in the wheat pool, or get lost in the straw maze...
The most beautiful animal farms in Paris and the Île-de-France region
Looking for a green getaway in the countryside without leaving the region? Head for the farms, sheepfolds and open spaces of our capital and region for a day in the fresh air! [Read more]
The bravest of you can even take your first helicopter flight, with helicopter christenings on the program. Afterwards, stop by the farmers' market to stock up on local produce grown and produced on farms near you! Admission is €5 per adult, and free for children under 10. So, come on down to the Festival de la Terre 2023 this weekend of September 2 and 3, and enjoy a change of scenery with your family or friends in the Val-d'Oise!
