There's nothing like continuing this year of 2024 with an explosion of color and magic! Since January 8, 2024, Disneyland Paris has been inviting visitors to enjoy a vibrant experience with the Disney Symphony of Colors. Fighting the cold of winter and illuminating the greyness, then the freshness of spring, this unique festival promises unforgettable, festive moments, inspired by Peter Pan's famous quote: " Dream your life in color, it's the secret of happiness ".
The show was unveiled on November 20, when Disneyland Paris released a preview of what visitors could expect. The festival had already been unveiled on Twitter in October. On the program: a beautiful stage and colorful costumes, as well as songs and dances performed by several Disney and Pixar characters!
And so, the highlight of the show begins with an exceptional aerial night parade, Disney Electrical Sky Parade, around the majestic Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant from January 8, 2024 to January 6, 2025. Imagine an aerial dance combining fountains, sparkling lights, breathtaking projections and an incredible choreography of drones. These drones, 500 in number and taking the form of luminous floats, nostalgically evoke some of the park's most iconic night-time experiences, offering a breathtaking spectacle for all ages. Characters include Elliott the Dragon, Cinderella, Peter Pan and, of course, Mickey Mouse.
From February 10 to September 30, 2024, the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle will be transformed into a dazzling stage. Entitled A Million Splashes of Colour, this high-energy new show will celebrate Disney and Pixar classics. Visitors can marvel at performances by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Dingo, as well as Mirabel fromEncanto, Asha from the film Wish, Joie(Vice-Versa), Timon (The Lion King) and Vaiana (Vaiana, the Legend of the End of the World).
Also on the program are several colorful floats inspired by Disney and Pixar creations around art, music and writing. Each float has its own visual identity, teeming with details and references to the Disney universe. As for the music, it plays a central role, setting the tone. A composition that mixes original music with a mashup of numerous Disney and Pixar songs. It doesn't take much to be happy, Ne parlons pas de Bruno or Je suis ton ami, from Toy Story... all iconic songs that visitors can also hum along to during the celebrations. There are also 30 dancers and Disney characters on hand to bring you a colorful experience every day!
And that's not all: Main Street, U.S.A. underwent a metamorphosis on February 10 with the arrival of new decorations! Thanks to Tinkerbell and her twin sister, Cristalline, you can look forward to a visual journey from a frosty universe to a world of flowers. The decorations draw their inspiration fromArt Nouveau, and celebrate"the great richness of Disney stories".
A festival we were able to discover... The decor is very pretty and well executed. We like the "Guimard" look of the lampposts and stained glass windows, skilfully blending nature and Art Nouveau architecture. It's colorful, and really cheers you up on a gloomy day... In short, a fine proposition.
The parade is rather short, but no less interesting. Three floats departing from Main Street, circling Central Plaza before returning to Main Street, accompany the characters and dancers who then take to the stage for a lovely show. The music is pretty catchy, but we'd have liked it to last a little longer.
As for the night show, it's THE hit of the festival! The Disney Electrical Sky Parade is absolutely breathtaking, with its many beautiful tableaux, ultra-catchy, ultra-modern music and drone-based pyrotechnics. We can't wait!
In short, a great way to enjoy Disneyland Paris, in addition to the attractions... All you have to do is make up your own mind!
One thing's for sure: the Disney Symphony of Colors promises to be THE new must-see event of 2024 at Disneyland Paris! So why not book your ticket?
