Visit the Longueville railway station, three stops before Provins (Transilien line P, from Paris Gare de l'Est), to discover the town's living railroad museum and its historic locomotives.
A veritable goldmine for train enthusiasts, the Longueville railroad museum opens on Sundays and public holidays, in the afternoon, to let you discover its rich railway heritage, made up of historic locomotives and diesel locomotives, on which you can occasionally climb aboard, to take part in a journey that stands out from the crowd.
So, every Easter weekend,AJECTA (l'Association de jeunes pour l'exploitation des chemins de fer touristiques et d'attraction) invites you to climb aboard its Easter egg train for an unusual ride through the Provence countryside, on Sunday March 31 and Monday April 1, 2024. From Longueville to Romilly-sur-Seine, you'll travel along the railroads preserved and maintained by the Association for a round trip aboard a steam train. The price is €30 per adult, €15 for children aged 6 to 11, and children under 6 pay nothing. If you'd like to take a ride on the Easter egg steam train, don't delay - places are often packed!
