The Jardin des Tuileries is transformed this year into the"Paris Summer Fair" from July 6 to September 1, 2024. This year, due to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games taking over the Place de la Concorde and the Jardin des Tuileries, the funfair is relocating to the Bois de Boulogne on the La Muette lawn.
The Fête des Tuileries is the second biggest Parisian funfair after the Foire du Trône. It's the perfect place for the whole family to have fun in the heart of Paris.
With 60 attractions, 6 restaurants and a guinguette to boot, you'll love going there with friends or family. To find the party, head for the Pelouse de la Muette in the 16th arrondissement. You can get there by metro 9, Muette station, or by RER C, Boulainvilliers station.
This year's attractions include the famous Paris Giant FerrisWheel, the world's largest moving Ferris wheel with 48 gondolas, offering a 60-metre-high view of the capital and the Eiffel Tower. There's also the Phantom Train, the Booster, the must-have bumpercars, as well as attractions such as children's rides, duck fishing and the timeless chamboule-tout.
And, of course, the usual fairground treats: Pommes d'amour, cotton candy, waffles, churros and barbecue.
Note that admission to the party is free, and that it's the attractions that are subject to a charge, allowing you to regulate your outing according to your means. There's nothing to stop you stopping by for some cotton candy, chichis or waffles, before treating yourself to a view of the Giant Ferris Wheel.
