Fête des Jardins 2023 at Parc de Bercy: Workshops, exhibitions and seed collection

Come and discover the Parc de Bercy and those involved in the environment, biodiversity, ecological management and green spaces in Paris, from September 20 to 24, on the occasion of the Fête des Jardins 2023.

Parc de Bercy was conceived in 1992 on the land of the Bercy wine cellars, the capital's former vineyards. It comprises three gardens designed by architects Bernard Huet, Marylène Ferrand and Jean-Pierre Feugas: the romantic garden with its ponds and belvedere, the meadows, large sunny esplanades, and a third section with educational vegetable gardens open to pupils from nearby schools, the rose garden and the Maison du Jardinage.

So many wonderful discoveries to be made at the end of September, while enjoying the many free activities designed for the occasion. Here's the program!

Program for the Fête des Jardins 2023 at Parc de Bercy:

• Wednesday, September 20, 2pm to 4pm:
  - Gardener's Olympics" workshop: come and take up the gardener's challenges and win your medal! A passport will guide you through each challenge: creative (pot origami...), physical (seed bomb throwing), and knowledge (tool names...).

• Saturday September 23 and Sunday September 24, 2pm to 7pm
  - Reception and exhibitions on the themes of urban gardening and participatory greening
  - Consultation of gardening books and magazines in the specialized library. Limited number of places
  - Discovery of the demonstrative and experimental organic vegetable garden: horticultural advice on organic gardening
  - Gardener's Olympics" workshop: take up gardening challenges and win your medal! A passport will guide you through each test: creative (pot origami...), physical (seed bomb throwing), and knowledge-based (tool names...).
  - Seed collection and exchange at the Maison du Jardinage's Grainothèque
  - Exhibition on the theme of urban gardening and participatory planting.
