With the fine weather just around the corner, terraces are in vogue, and what could be better than a beautiful rooftop to take in the view of the capital's finest monuments, including the Eiffel Tower? Let's head for Boulevard Pasteur in the 15th arrondissement to discover Villa M, a hotel concept dedicated to health and well-being.
It's a spot that's intelligent, lively, responsible and benevolent all at once, imagined by designer Philippe Starck, Amanda Lehmann and Thierry Lorente of Groupe Pasteur Mutualité, the French-Brazilian architecture agency Triptyque, and Paris Society, the group founded by Laurent de Gourcuff, creator of a new hospitality and exceptional places.
In addition to a lovely restaurant on the first floor with a verdant terrace offering a gourmet brunch, Villa M hides a beautiful and spacious terrace to discover on the 8th floor. Climb up to the hotel's rooftop for a breathtaking view over the rooftops of Paris. From the Eiffel Tower to the Dôme des Invalides and the Tour Montparnasse, a 360° panorama opens up.
Like the hotel itself, the terrace is lush and green, like a suspended oasis offruit trees and plants. The program includes a large central bar, seating for around 70 with large wooden armchairs, Canadian garden furniture, wicker lamps and garlands for festive evenings.
The rooftoprestaurant is open from April to September, Tuesday to Saturday, from 12 noon to 2.30 pm and from 7 pm to 11 pm. The bar is open from 2.30pm to 6pm, also Tuesday to Saturday.
In addition to Nina Métayer's tapas to share and other sweet treats, there's an attractive menu of creative cocktails. The restaurant offers salads and dishes ranging from Black Angus entrecôte to octopus and tuna tataki with sucrine heart. Pizzas and desserts by Nina Métayer await you.
So why not switch to rooftop terrace mode?
