Pierre Chomet (Top Chef 2021) signs the menu at Mama Shelter La Défense

A new Mama Shelter opens its doors in La Défense, and we're learning more about therestaurant offering at this new hotel in western Paris! Indeed, to develop the recipes for the hotel's restaurants, Mama Shelter has called on young chef Pierre Chomet, spotted last year in season 12 of Top Chef!

This is not the first time that Mama Shelter has called on a well-known chef to devise the menus offered in its hotels. Alain Senderens, Jérôme Banctel, Guy Savoy and Jean-Edern Hurstel have all done so in the past. Today, Pierre Chomet, who has worked at Le Bristol and Joël Robuchon's Atelier in London and Bangkok, is in charge of this gourmet task!

Faithful to his vision of cuisine, the dishes created by Pierre Chomet trace a link between traditional and Asian cuisine through a multitude of dishes to be savored in the three dining venues of Mama Shelter La Défense. For Le Mama's restaurant, Chef Chomet highlights a gentle blend of traditional American and Asian cuisine, as with these eggs Benedict, yuzu, salmon and brioche.

At Mama's Sports Bar, on the second floor of the hotel, the chef offers mouth-watering street food dishes, such as fish and chips with green curry, or a hot dog with lemongrass sausage and sriracha sauce. Finally, in the rooftop restaurant on the 14th floor, you'll discover a more chic menu, featuring fine seafood, such as octopus with chorizo and beef tartar with oyster and seaweed!
