In the Christian tradition, Mardi Gras is the last day before Ash Wednesday and Lent, a period when Christians are invited to eat less fat, to reason with themselves. For many years now, the religious significance of this convivial feast has been lost, and all that's left is the gourmet delights to be savored on this unique Tuesday of the year. Bugnes, beignets, waffles, churros... Mardi Gras lives up to its name!
So, to celebrate this family gathering in style, Maison Fika, the kid-friendly café and concept-store in Asnières-sur-Seine (92), invites you and your family to take part in culinary workshops to learn how to make traditional Mardi Gras sweets. During the February vacations 2024, head to Maison Fika to take part in a parent-child duo workshop to share a gourmet moment with children, aged 4 and up, and learn how to make your own bugnes (and their spread)!
