From October 6 to November 3, 2024, Hotel 1K will be ringing in Mexican time with a 100% Mexican festival. The program includes dinners, brunches and evenings for Halloween and Dia de Muertos!
Hotel 1K is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. To celebrate in style, the boutique-hotel is pulling out all the stops with a 100% Mexican festival lasting over a month, from October 6 to November 3, 2024. A month to celebrate Mexico's rich cultural heritage , as well as its gastronomic delights.
The program features a host of activities, both free and paying, including several festivals - the Que Gusto Festival, the Viva Agave Festival and the Pisco Festival - 4-hands dinners and brunches for the whole family, masterclasses and workshops to learn more about Mexican specialties, and even wild parties for Halloween and Dia de Muertos.

- October 6-7, 11am-7pm at Hotel 1K - Viva Agave Festival: Immerse yourself in the world of agave spirits with passionate experts sharing their knowledge of mezcal, tequila and raicilla. Tastings, lectures, cocktails and masterclasses will reveal the very best that Mexico has to offer in spirits.

- October 10, 7-10:30 p.m. at Restaurant Inka - Que Gusto Festival: Mexican taquería Siembra invites itself to Restaurant Inka for an exclusive dinner orchestrated by chefs Israël Montero and Karina Mejia. They will revisit Mexican cuisine with a menu that honors the authentic flavors of local produce. Price: €50/person
- October 16, 12pm-3pm at El Vecino Saint-Honoré, 7pm-11pm at El Vecino Marais - Festival Que Gusto: Chef Alexis Braconnier, former Top Chef contestant, joins chef Israël Montero for a gourmet evening dedicated to tacos. Lectures and tastings will punctuate this culinary event at taqueria El Vecino. Prices: snacks 15-18€, cocktails 12€.
- October 27, 10am-3pm at Restaurant Inka - Fiesta de los Angelitos Brunch: Celebrate Fiesta de los Angelitos, the special holiday dedicated to deceased children, often called 'angelitos', with a traditional Mexican brunch. Enjoy iconic dishes such as mole, chilaquiles, and much more. Children's activities, such as doll-making and Catrina workshops, will also be on offer from 10am. Price: €40 per adult and €15 per child
- October 29, 7pm-00am at La Mezcaleria - Masterclass mezcal and afterwork: Join us at La Mezcaleria, a hidden bar that has become a fixture on the Paris cocktail scene, for a masterclass on mezcal with tasting and food. The evening continues with an afterwork hosted by DJ Mafe until midnight.
- October 30 at Hotel 1K - Pisco Festival and Masterclass: Discover the secrets of the emblematic Peruvian spirit at the Pisco Festival.
- October 30, 7-10:30pm at Restaurant Inka - Pisco Festival, Peruvian dinner: Chef José Espinoza invites you to an exceptional dinner, with a menu featuring his signature dishes such as ceviche, tiraditor and salteado, accompanied by a welcome cocktail and a surprise dessert from the chef. Price: €50 per person, including welcome cocktail, and €25 per person for the Peruvian wine and food pairing.
- October 31, 7pm-2pm at La Mezcaleria - Halloween party: The Halloween party at the hidden bar La Mezcaleria returns on October 31 with DJ set Mafe and a face-painting booth hosted by Morelos Ruth. Admission free
- November 1, 7-10.30pm at Restaurant Inka - Mexican dinner: Enlaces Gastronomicos and a renowned Mexican guest chef invite you to a gourmet dinner at Restaurant Inka. Price: €50 per person, including a welcome cocktail, and €25 per person for the Peruvian wine and food pairing.
- November 2, 6pm-2am at the 1K Hotel - Fiesta Dia de Muertos: Experience the real Festival of the Dead, just like in Mexico City! The 1K invites you to join in this unmissable celebration for its 9th edition, with DJ sets, a shaman, and food stalls run by top Mexican chefs. Themed activities include alebrijes painting, Xoloitzcuintle, and the creation of 'Collares artesanales' handmade necklaces. Places are limited and book early.
- November 3, 12pm-3pm at restaurant Inka - Brunch and Mexican artisans' market: Enjoy a brunch buffet featuring Mexican cuisine, in collaboration with chef Julio César Chablé and traditional cook Victoria Andrade from the 'Niltze México' collective. Mexican artisans will be on hand to showcase typical Mexican items. Price: €40 per adult and €15 per child
- November 3, 7-10:30pm at Restaurant Inka - Closing dinner and Fiesta Dia de Muertos: To round off the festivities in style, Restaurant Inka invites you to a Mexican dinner celebrating the Fiesta Día de Muertos. In collaboration with chef Julio César Chablé and traditional cook Victoria Andrade from the 'Niltze México' collective, this dinner will showcase Mexican flavors and traditions.
