Flanelles is the new hotel in the 17th arrondissement. Intimate, it features a number of nooks and crannies dedicated to relaxation, a library, a cocktail bar, a spa and a restaurant run by chef Thierry Alix.

Not far from the Arc de Triomphe, a new hotel has opened its doors, designed by Pascal Donat and designers Laurent & Laurence: theHotel Flanelles.

The many intimate spaces in this new spot invite you to relax, starting with the private library where you can read, write and work in peace and quiet; the subdued lounge with its many sofas; and theHonesty Bar, where you can sink into a big armchair and enjoy à la carte cocktails.

In the bedroom, materials come in all shapes and sizes: gray flannel or tartan trench, tweed, denim or sailboat, refined touches of color, checkerboard patterns with a reinvented metro look...

Two suites will delight lovers of pretty spaces: the Atelier suite, with its private staircase, beautiful glass roof, steam fireplace, platform bed and duo shower; and the Au Balcon suite, with its large private balcony and alcove bed.

On the food front, breakfast can be enjoyed at any time of day - muesli and homemade honey, jams from Maison Perrotte, Paris ham, mature cheeses from the rue Poncelet market, breads and pastries - as can chef Thierry Alix 's club sandwich, in veggie, gluten-free or classic versions.

On the spa front, the Flanelles hotel features a wellness area with steam room, sauna and various treatment paths: the Spa and cosmetics path, the Bain de Chaleur path and the Mur de Sel path with its positive vibes.

In short, an address to try out on future trips to Paris!
