The Pullmann de la Tour Eiffel hotel is one of the closest to the all-iron Grande Dame; this former Hilton hotel, taken over by Pullman in 2009, was renovated in 2013-2014 by interior designer and architect Christophe Pillet.
One of the first new features is the restaurant at the bottom of the hotel (it is independent of Pullmann and has its own entrance door - as well as access directly from reception). Named Frame ( a contraction of France and America), it offers a Californian menu executed before your very eyes in a kitchen that opens onto the dining room.
For a touch of the bobo, there's a large kitchen garden just a few steps away, where aromatic plants, fruits and vegetables are grown. On the bar, you'll find them freshly picked, soaking in small transparent pots. And above all, we love the touch of chic in the cocktails where they bring a delicious, strong scent of nature. Yum!
Another vision of catering is proposed: fresher, more accessible (the open kitchens can be both a show and a cooking lesson), and more fun, with distributors of fine wines. Yes, put on your glass, choose a wine, a quantity, and enjoy!
The same spirit can be found in the hotel's reception area. Modernity says goodbye to the traditional counter to welcome guests in a less formal way, around a large table. Very soon, we'll be seeing staff armed with tablets who'll go up to customers to direct them... There's an audacity and elegance to these new ways of conceiving the hotel and restaurant business.
Let's move on to the rooms. Christophe Pillet has designed a discreet elegance, suitable for both men and women. Cameo shades of gray, taupe and blue are enhanced by small splashes of color. Beds are criminally white, spacious and creamy. The views, of the Eiffel Tower or the vegetable garden, are worth the detour... We appreciate the delicacy of the bathrooms, where Roger & Gallet products will enhance your toilet.
For sports enthusiasts, there's a brand-new, spotless fitness room with an incredible view of the 16th arrondissement. For connected guests, fiber optics and the Quadriga offer in all rooms (100 films, international channels, room service on TV).
For business guests, 1500m2 of flexible meeting space (we love the brightness of all the meeting rooms, to put an end to the dreariness of neon lights, as well as the creative meeting room, teeming with ideas to stimulate projects).
Far from extravagance, the hotel's charm lies in its calm, modernity and elegance.
