For many years, Restaurant L’A.O.C. (AOC meaning Protected Designation of Origin in French) offers Latin Quarter inhabitants, as well Parisians and tourists, to enjoy a delicious traditional French cuisine reminding us of our dear beloved grandmothers’ cuisines.
As a matter of fact, here, there’s no room for modern creation. In a charming old-style wooden décor, you can enjoy many and very traditional starters: cold cuts board, free-range snails, crispy pig’s trotters, homemade foie gras… or even a roasted marrow bone with salt flower and its Poujauran bread:
Then, many meat cuts await you: prime rib of beef, rib steak, tartare, veal kidneys, blood sausage… or a duck confit served with pan-fried potatoes:
You can also have a look at the rotisserie and go for the pit-roasted suckling pig:
As you would have understood it, meat-lovers will have a lot on their plates! A large choice of desserts is also offered such as the famous tarte Tatin, the rice puddings and the chocolate lava cake.
