Are you looking for a nice restaurant to entertain your friends on New Year’s Eve? Recently open, Christophe Michalak and Steve Burggraf’s vegetarian restaurant, Polichinelle, has been rocking with food based on vegetables.
The 130-seat place has everything to become an unforgettable table for New Year’s Eve: the room has been designed to accommodate large tables of friends, with a beautiful terrace and views on the Eiffel Tower. No fight as for the festive menu, everyone is free to get whatever they want from the buffet.
For this festive night, Polichinelle welcomes us with an exclusive cocktail based on quinoa vodka fair, vanilla liquor, ginger syrup, mango juice, egg white, lemon juice, lime zests. Then, the buffet is open and provides many dishes to share.
As a starter, the chef entertains us with girolle-truffled Wellington eggs, cep tempura with black garlic aioli, confit bouchon potato panna cotta, sumac-grilled cauliflower and baby artichoke chips.
Moving on to main courses, Polichinelle serves some butternut risotto, potatoes and wild rice, butternut soup, puff potatoes, gnocchetti, cashew nut and truffle sauce, as well as some delicious celeriac tataki.
And as for desserts, we’re speaking about Michalak, it’s a whole range of delicacies that expects us: chocolate and hazelnut fingers, his famous caramel cream puff with whipped cream, and his reconstituted lemon pie are here
And to pair this menu, Blanc Pessac-Leognan Château La Louviere Bordeaux Blanc "Alto de Cantenac Brown" Rouge Margaux "Sirènes de Giscours" Saint-Julien "Connétable de Talbot".
This is a good alternative to restaurants with set menus for this festive night.
