The most famous brasserie on the Champs-Elysées, if not in Paris, welcomes gourmets with a new summer menu designed by chefs Pierre Gagnaire and Nicolas Paciello.

It is probably the most famous restaurant on the Champs-Élysées... Fouquet's opened its doors in 1899 at the corner ofAvenue des Champs-Élysées and Avenue George V, in the Golden Triangle of Paris. With its mahogany decor and golden chandeliers, Fouquet's has earned a reputation as the celebrity restaurant of Paris.

And the restaurant does not hide it, displaying on the walls the black and white pictures of the regulars of the place. Aviators at the beginning of the century, then movie stars, singers, celebrities frequented Fouquet' s and signed their contracts there. It has become so mythical that its room is registered in the inventory of historical monumentsin order to save the restaurant from being bought and disappearing in 1988. The certificate states that "the restaurant Le Fouquet's is of sufficient historical and artistic interest to make its preservation desirable because of the quality of the decorations of Jean Royère, the role of witness of the great cafés of the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, which this establishment plays, and finally its importance in the literary and cinematographic life.

Since then, the brasserie Le Fouquet's has been bought by the Barrière group, which has built a hotel on the floors of the building. In 2017, the group signed a contract with chef Pierre Gagnaire (3*) and recruited Nicolas Paciello as pastry chef in 2019. Two great chefs for a cuisine of excellence.

On the menu for this grand reopening, a large plate of melon, Iberian ham, red sorbet, artichoke heart with vinaigrette, shavings of Comté cheese, pan-fried squid with fine herbs, eggplant with black olives, grilled salmon steak, duxelle of button mushrooms with sorrel, supreme of free-range poultry with satay, cream of corn, veal quarters flavored with oregano and its juice like an osso-buco, a peach melba and a cherry amarena parfait.

You can enjoy the indoor restaurant as well as the two terraces, on the Champs-Élysées side and the George V side. The restaurant is open to you every day, from 07h30 to 01h.
