Parisian gourmets can guarantee it: pizza prices keep on rising for years in Paris. And to be honest, they are more and more often filled with quality products coming straight from Italy, but often expensive, and topped with more or less original extras such as truffle cream and so on.
So, why not returning to a more basic and more affordable pizza? This is the idea developed by Popine pizzeria that launched for the Fall 2021 a brand-new offer aiming at tight budgets and people who do not think about paying €18 for a pizza, and of course, gourmets!
At every lunch of the week, Popine unveils a Margherita pizza for only €5. Yes, €5 like in Naples! Who says better? This one is obviously baked by the book, based on an original recipe: a nice tomato sauce base, melting mozzarella, a drizzle of olive oil, and basil leaves. Simple and delicious!
So, to enjoy this sassy and affordable pizza, or discover the other delicious treats served by Popine, head to Popine Saint-Sauveur in Paris 2nd arrondissement, and Popinette in Paris 20th arrondissement, for lunch throughout the week!
