Nothing seems to stop chef Peppe Cutraro, especially not the health crisis. Having just inaugurated his ephemeral pizzas on the Champs-Élysées at La Terrazza 25 for the summer, he is now unveiling his new restaurant: Casa di Peppe, which opened its doors on June 30, 2021.
Located in Paris's 5th arrondissement , rue Saint-Jacques, Casa di Peppe is a trattoria, pizzeria and delicatessen- Italian, of course. With this new address, Giuseppe Cutraro, the world champion of pizza, wants to show us the extent of his talents with recipes other than pizzas. Delicious arancini stuffed with mortadella, pistachio and smoked provola, as well as truffle risotto, await you.
Although the menu at Peppe' s restaurant in the 20th arrondissement also includes antipasti and salads, the bulk of the menu consists of pizzas.
But aficionados of Peppe 's pizzas need rest assured: pizzas are of course also on the menu at Casa di Peppe. The pizzaiolo chef has created 4 original pizzas for his Casa, including the 4 Pomodori, a pizza featuring 4 varieties of tomato. And, of course, we end on a sweet note with the timeless Tiramisu.
Just a stone's throw from the Luxembourg Gardens, the Casa di Peppe restaurant seats 65 inside and 80 outside on its vast terrace. A very green terrace where bamboo and vine leaves rub shoulders. Ideal for the summer ahead. The restaurant replaces the Maison Marie brasserie, a local institution that has closed its doors for good.
The chef, who recently created his own range of home-baked pizzas, also offers takeaway sales at Casa di Peppe. We're off to discover the place and treat ourselves!
