Petibon, sweet and savory finger sandwiches in Montorgueil

It is small, it is cute, it is Petibon! Open in the Montorgueil area for a short while, the Petibon counter is the perfect place to enjoy finger sandwiches on-the-go. From breakfast to aperitif, including brunch, for every time you feel hungry, your craving is satisfied by these small sweet and savory sandwiches created by Julia, Léna and Chloé Grosman.

After spending years in England, the three sisters wanted to bring these famous finger sandwiches to Paris, made at Petibon based on quality ingredients: fluffy white bread, crunchy shortcrust and almond financier cake for the sweet versions, and inside, no more than 4 ingredients per recipe for a simple and sophisticated dish.

On the menu of this monoproduct restaurant which decoration is signed by Uchronia studio, savory recipes based on white ham with herbs and butter; honey and goat’s cheese and mashed Menton lemon; feta, Greek yogurt, sundried tomatoes, zaatar; pastrami or smoked salmon with citrus condiment.

Moving on to the sweet ones, the range of five Petibons based on shortcrust, cinnamon and lemon confit, raspberry confit or salted caramel; with chocolate-praline-sea salt ganache; or even one based on milk chocolate and honey.

The other sweet range is based on almond financier cake and five regressive recipes: the Chocolat-Coco (cocoa financier stuffed with homemade coconut cream), the Cacahuète (homemade peanut cream and chopped peanuts), the Café-Noix (coffee financier stuffed with walnut cream and homemade praline), the Chocolat (cocoa financier stuffed with 64% Peruvian chocolate ganache and cocoa nibs), and the Pistache (homemade pistachio cream and chopped pistachio).

And in the morning, enjoy the morning Petibons, buttered and stuffed with homemade strawberry or apricot jam, and homemade spread, to pair with a hot drink from L’Arbre à Café.
