Akira Back launches its express breakfast menu

Feel like treating yourself to a good restaurant without overstaying your lunchtime at work? Head for Akira Back, Akira's first Japanese restaurant in France, offering modern cuisine with a travel accent. Open since the beginning of the year in the evenings, the restaurant is now open at lunchtime, offering a 65€ menu in just 45 minutes.

At one of the beautiful tables in the impressively lit dining room, or seated at the counter, let yourself be seduced by the chef's proposals from midday onwards. There's a wide choice of dishes on the menu or à la carte. Of course, the menu is shorter than in the evening, but it also includes proposals that you can't discover at dinner.

Another piece of good news is that the menu changes every week, giving you the opportunity to return regularly without getting bored. On our visit, we sampled a lovely assortment of starters including marinated octopus, spicy shrimp maki and beef tacos.

Melt-in-the-mouth, crispy and, above all, tasty with spicy dishes, we love it. Being gourmets, we also added the AB Eringi Pizza, featuring thin slices of raw tuna and mushrooms on a crispy bed of umani aioli and fresh truffle.

We continue the lunch menu with a very generous Chirashi Don, as beautiful as it is good. Rice cooked to perfection, salmon sashimi, lump roe, a touch of caviar, omelette with a hint of sweetness and pickled lotus, it's a wonderful discovery.

We couldn't end the meal without a small assortment of iced mochi to finish it off. Coconut, black sesame, sakura ormatcha are on the dessert menu.
