Rue de Maubeuge, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, Becco combines Italian tradition and ultra-fresh ingredients to offer a gourmet, seasonal menu of unmissable Italian specialties.

After opening several Neapolitan pizzas with Pizzou, the restaurant's teams recently inaugurated the concept's little sister: Becco, the Italian trattoria-style restaurant, where you can enjoy fresh pizzas and pastas, cooked in the traditional way.

On the menu, Becco offers Italian recipes cooked with ingredients sourced from small producers - French or Italian, depending on the region - combining traditional charcuterie, marinated vegetables, exceptional Italian cheeses and seasonal vegetables. On the à la carte menu, Becco focuses on Roman pizzas, with dough thinner and crisper than their Neapolitan cousins. To whet your appetite, the starters offer generous aperitivo (from €7.5 to €16 per starter), ranging from bruschetta to creamy burrata, not forgetting the excellent Provençal-style fried squid, prepared à la Sétoise.

As for pizzas, we recommend the spicy Diabolitaine, the unmissable Marguerite or the more gourmet cheese-based recipes (from €12 to €17 per pizza). As for the pasta, it's all freshly made daily on site: rigatoni with truffles, fusilli with pistachio pesto, linguine carbonara... Portions are generous and richly flavored (from €15 to €19 per dish). Finally - if you still have room - opt for one of the in-house desserts: affogato, pannacotta or tiramisu (from €7 to €8). A children's menu including pizza or pasta with ham, syrup and a scoop of ice cream is also available for €12 (served up to age 12).

All in all, we warmly recommend this address: great portions, 5-star welcome and recipes using quality products: go for it!
