Founded in 2023, L'Inaperçu Café Restaurant is a new kind of hybrid venue dedicated to photography and bistronomy. Located in the heart of the Marais district, close to the Centre Pompidou, this French restaurant invites you to savor healthy, home-cooked cuisine in a warm atmosphere.

A photography bookshop

The boutique offers a selection of exceptional, rare or out-of-print works, sometimes accompanied by exclusive artists' prints, and many photo enthusiasts are regulars at this address.

Every three months, L'Inaperçu also invites a personality from the world of art or publishing (artists, editors, critics or art historians) to present a curation: a thematic selection of photography books.

In the restaurant area, you can of course dine at lunch or dinner, with a menu designed by the chef, featuring seasonal fruit and vegetables. Vegetables, which often play second fiddle in restaurants, become the star ingredient of the plate here!

For starters, try the Old-fashioned Tomatoes, Burrata, roasted hazelnuts and basil oil.

On the seaside, we love the snacked Tiger Prawns with roasted daikon in orange juice, sesame oil, pickles, saffron sauce and salmon roe. On the land side, Vitello is also a good option, with thin slices of veal cooked at low temperature, crunchy fennel salad and black olives.

On the main course, try the Roasted Monkfish, green and yellow zucchini, black sesame and fish fumet with Limoncello, or the Veal Quasi, miso-confit eggplant, date syrup and veal jus.

For dessert, there's plenty of freshness this summer with the red fruit Pavlova.
Gourmets will love the cheesecake of the moment or the matcha coulant, praline cookie and raw cocoa tuile.

You can get off to a good start in the morning with their brand-new breakfast formula from Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 11am, featuring the classic Parisian breakfast with tea/coffee, orange juice, toast or croissant for €9.

And every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., L'INAPERÇU offers a Brunch menu!
On the menu, a refined selection of fresh, homemade products: hot drinks, softs, squeezed orange juice, pastries, choice of main course served on bamboo charcoal focaccia, crudités, roasted vegetables, pumpkin velouté and choice of desserts. Classic formula at €39 and children's formula (3 to 10 years) at €25.

Under the guidance of Arnaud Bachelin, renowned tea connoisseur and founder of Thé-ritoires in Paris, L'INAPERÇU offers a day-long selection of sixteen natural teas sourced directly from their producers.
