From September 22 to November 4, 2018, Vaux-le-Vicomte is offering visitors the chance to relive the most memorable scenes from films shot at the Château. The Château has been the setting for nearly 70 films(La folie des grandeurs, Marie-Antoinette, The Man in the Iron Mask, and many more!) and has played host to many stars, both French and international! You're in for a real treat...

For this second edition, the film James Bond: Moonraker (1979) is in the spotlight, with an exhibition of posters, archive extracts and objects from the shoot, as well as a tribute to Roger Moore, who passed away in 2017. And the real helicopter from the film, a Bell 206 for those in the know, will be on display in the Cour d'Honneur of the Château. But the fun doesn't stop there: every Saturday, 4 lucky winners will have the chance to fly over Vaux le Vicomte in an Alouette II helicopter, just like Roger Moore did in the film! To enter, visit the château's Facebook page. 2 winners will also be chosen at random on site during their visit.

And this year, interactivity is also on the agenda: equipped with a virtual reality headset, immerse yourself for 2 minutes in the making of a film through a 360° experience!

Every Sunday, meet an FX make-up artist, a set designer, a costume designer and a wigmaker, who will explain the extraordinary work they do to help make a film or series a reality. These atypical personalities will host conference-meetings to reveal the different aspects of their profession.

And the icing on the cake is a free "special effects" make-up workshop, where you can create fake wounds and wrinkles!

As well as guided tours "Behind the scenes at Vaux-le-Vicomte", an exhibition of costumes from the Versailles series, and much more... ! An event not to be missed!
