The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, the new film in the saga due in 2026

The Lord of the Rings will soon be back in theaters with a new film! David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, announced on May 9, 2024 that a brand-new film in the saga would be coming to theaters. Entitled The Lord of the Ring: The Hunt for Gollum, it would be produced by Peter Jackson, directed by Andy Serkis (the original voice of Gollum) and released in 2026.
