Heritage Day 2024: visit the Beaumont Palace cinema (95), a listed building

Discover the many cultural sites that make up France's rich heritage during the Journées du Patrimoine. This 40th edition will be held on Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024, throughout France and Europe. This cultural event gives us the chance to discover thousands of historic and artistic establishments, often free of charge! Even better: some buildings usually closed to the public are even exceptionally accessible, during these two days. It's the perfect opportunity to spend a lovely weekend with the family!

Heritage Days 2024 in Val d'Oise (95): local treasures to discover
For the Journées du Patrimoine 2024, head for the Val d'Oise! On Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024, castles, monuments and historic sites in the Val d'Oise will be opening their doors to us for guided tours, workshops and unique moments of sharing. [Read more]

This year, as usual, Le Palace cinema in Beaumont-sur-Oise (95) is joining in the fun, with a full program on the Heritage Days weekend. This legendary cinema is an important stronghold. Listed as a historic monument, it was built in 1900. You'll know it as the setting for a number of films(includingLa cité de la peur), as well as a cult TV show: La dernière séance, presented by Eddy Mitchell between 1982 and 1986.

Film buffs, lovers of regional and architectural curiosities, and the curious of all kinds are invited to take part in fun tours and workshops, to find out all about this unusual cinema.
