You're probably familiar with Freestyle, the festival dedicated to urban cultures, held every year at La Villette, free of charge. With shows, concerts, demonstrations, DJ sets, exhibitions and workshops open to all, this summertime event delights us every year. And what about the kids? The good news is that they too are entitled to their own activities and events. Throughout the weekend, young visitors can enjoy a range of activities designed especially for them, in a setting that's just right for them.

A cultural and festive festival just like the big ones, allowing your little ones to discover new cultures, have fun and let off steam in the open air. And this year's program is sure to please.

The program for this 2024 edition:

• 3pm to 8.30pm - The Children's Olympic Village
  Children are entitled to their own Olympics too! Freestyle Extra offers a mini village with games, competitions, sports initiations, creative workshops and a shooting studio to photograph all the champions!
  • Introduction to pole vaulting with the Cap vers les Étoiles association
  • Finger Skate competition hosted by Koozy Kooz
  • Sonic Billes competition, a giant marble run with sound, hosted by Tapetronic
  • Printstation, screen-printing workshop, hosted by Chienpo
  • Digital medal-making workshop with the Fanmobile
  • Shooting studio with Henrike Stah
