Good plan: festive evenings and free dance classes at Boom Boom Villette this summer

Let's get dancing this summer! With the Olympic Games in full swing, some of the Quays of the Seine won't be able to host the traditional summer dance evenings, but there are still plenty of great ways to get started or get back into dancing, with classes taught by professional dancers and evenings where you can swing the night away.

In the 19th arrondissement, Boom Boom Villette needs no introduction: the neighborhood's new foodcourt and lifestyle center opened in early 2024, offering a great range of leisure and dining options. Between Seven Squares and its bowling alley, laser game, trampoline park... The foodcourt also offers weekend entertainment for children, as well as evening concerts, DJ sets and dance classes.

You can choose to learn or improve your steps in salsa (Cuban or Puerto Rican), bachata (a more sensual Latin dance than salsa) or swing at dance evenings during the summer. As an added bonus, each dance class is completely free, open to all, and is followed by an evening of dancing until late at night.

On the program:

• Salsa & bachata classes, followed by a party: Wednesday July 3 at 7:30pm
• Shake that wing, followed by a DJ set from the 90s and 2000s: Friday, July 12 at 7:00 p.m.
• Salsa and bachata, followed by a party: Wednesday, July 24 at 7.30pm
