If you like to work on your cardio, boxing is the ideal sport! Punch Boxing offers a new approach, with group classes combining bootcamp and boxing, all to music. All you have to do is slip on your gloves and follow the coach's voice to let off steam for 50 minutes. We've tried it, and it feels great!
In concrete terms, how does agroup PunchBoxingclass work? Although the number of participants per class is fairly large, the space is cleverly designed. When you start the class, you're either in the Bootcamp section or the Boxing section. The coach starts the music and explains the exercises to each of the two groups (which are explained again on a screen in front of you in case you forget), and you're off for 50 minutes of letting go to music, accompanied by an immersive light show.
If you don't like impact or cardio, Punch Boxing might not be for you. These group classes are designed for people who want to get their cardio pumping, while strengthening their muscles to the accompaniment of music. The class is pretty intense, although it's aimed at all levels and each person can choose to adapt their exercises. The coaches are there to support you, so don't hesitate to ask.
Part of the Monday Sport Club group , Punch Boxing was created in 2019 by a sports enthusiast inspired by the group class models of gyms in the USA. Their brand-new gym has just opened in République, where we tested the experience, but you can also go for a musical workout at Punch Boxing Neuilly, Champs-Elysées, Louvre and Lafayette .
