So, from July 27 to August 7, Boom Boom Villette invites you to attend French Cancan performances by professional dancers, but also to take part in your own way, by learning about the discipline.
World-famous as a symbol of Paris and, above all, of the Moulin Rouge, the cabaret located at the foot of the Butte Montmartre, the French Cancan is a dance that appeared in the 1820s to symbolize women's freedom and emancipation. Increasingly popular, thanks in particular to the dancers of the Moulin Rouge who made it one of their signature dances, the French Cancan is danced to dynamic music, with large petticoats.
