From February 3 to 25, 2024, during the winter vacations, the Théâtre de la Renaissance presents an enchanting stage adaptation of"Denver, le Dernier Dinosaure", the cult 80s cartoon that marked several generations. This musical comedy, imagined and directed by Arthur Jugnot and Guillaume Bouchède, invites young and old alike to rediscover the iconic story of Denver, history's most rock'n'roll dinosaur, and his inseparable friends.
The story begins in California in 1985, when a group of teenagers discover a dinosaur egg in a vacant lot. From this egg hatches Denver, a dinosaur as imposing as he is endearing, who quickly becomes the youngsters' best friend. However, their daily lives are turned upside down when an unscrupulous producer decides to make Denver a star, seeing in him an opportunity for wealth.
The play features a talented cast including Zoé Bidaud, Jules Fabre, Madison Golaz, Vianney Fayard, Sara Sousa, Vincent Vanhée, Romane Tsacanias or Asia Tissier, Antoine Lelandais, and Arnaud Maillard. Together, they bring this adventure to life, with Romain Trouillet 's music and Manon Finet 's choreography adding a dynamic, lively dimension.
