In the capital, guided tours and fun workshops await you with open arms!
How about a visit to the Petit Palais? Located in the 8th arrondissement, near the Champs-Élysées, the Petit Palais building was constructed for the 1900 Universal Exhibition held in Paris. It was designed in the Beaux-Arts style by architect Charles Girault, and is often considered one of the finest examples of architecture from the period. The museum houses an eclectic collection of works of art, mainly French, ranging from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century.
The Petit Palais also boasts an important collection of Asian art. In addition to its permanent collections, the museum regularly organizes temporary exhibitions highlighting various artists, artistic movements or historical periods. But you won't want to miss its interior garden, peaceful and green at any time of day, for relaxing and enjoying a break.
