During the February 2024 vacations, the Crypte archéologique de l'île de la Cité, located in the 4th arrondissement (and on the Île de la Cité, as its name suggests), is organizing a number of events for adults and especially for children, so that they and their families can discover this unique site on the history of Paris.
Since January 31, 2024, the Crypt has been presenting Dans la Seine, its brand-new exhibition featuring objects found in the most Parisian of rivers since prehistoric times... Dive into the heart of this unusual exhibition with your family, and take part in the activities on offer during the February vacations. What's on the program? Guided tours of the crypt and the exhibition, family writing workshops and, for the little ones, storytelling to plunge you into the heart of the site's history.
