If you're a fan ofnatural history, you've probably already visited the Grande Galerie de l'Évolution, which opened in 1994 in the heart of the Jardin des Plantes! On March 23 and 24, 2024, it's already celebrating its 30th anniversary, and invites you and your family to enjoy a host ofexceptional events based around its collections, which are awe-inspiring for young and old alike! Themed tours, workshops, readings, artistic and theatrical performances - there'll be plenty of opportunities to (re)discover this jewel in the crown of France's cultural and scientific heritage, for the price of an admission ticket!
Of course, you'll be able to enjoy the permanent exhibition, including theFélins show, all weekend long, but also in the evening, thanks to a nocturne on Saturday, until 10pm, for an extraordinary atmosphere. A special guest for this anniversary is the famous dodo, brought back to life by two artifacts created for the occasion, to be discovered in the Endangered and Extinct Species room.
In his honor, a comic reading of the tale"La nuit du dodo" (The night of the dodo) and atreasure hunt "Le trésor de Maurice" (Maurice's treasure) are offered in the Museum library.
