Chez Hé, the Asian restaurant with the gigantic children's playground - permanently closed

It's a well-known fact that going to a restaurant with the family can quickly turn into a nightmare. Especially if there's no special children's menu, or space for them to occupy themselves while the adults quietly wolf down a delicious starter-main course at an affordable price.

In this respect, Chez Hé ticks all the boxes on the kid-friendly to-do list: not only is a children's menu à la carte, but above all, there's a huge 350 m² play area in the basement! No doubt they'll want to go to the restaurant a lot more often!

Located next to Nation, the place is open every day except Monday, and welcomes you for lunch or dinner! On the plus side, you can choose to include the playground in your children's menu: to take advantage of this, the menu costs €19.90; otherwise, the children's menu is less than €10 (€9.90).

This is one of the must-visit restaurants for a family lunch or dinner outing with children. While the grown-ups make themselves comfortable in one of the restaurant's two large dining rooms, the kids can explore the various play areas:

• Secret corners with games
• Ball pools

Note that the playground has several small areas with tables for celebrating children's birthdays. The birthday package starts at €25 per child (minimum 8 children), and includes sweets and drinks, invitation cards, a private area for the group, a homemade cake, unlimited access to the park for the day, and the presence of an animator to dress up the children and animate the birthday party for three hours, according to the chosen theme.

Chez Hé has also thought of the comfort of parents right down to the last detail, installing large screens throughout the restaurant so you can keep an eye on your offspring while enjoying your meal.

On the menu, the richness of Asia awaits you. Classic dishes include steamed ravioli, egg rolls, Vietnamese pancakes, ravioli soup and gyozas. Then there's the temptation of Guozais or Sha Guos, dishes based on fresh produce, cooked in pots before your very eyes. This house specialty is similar to Chinese fondue. It can be cooked with meat, fish, seafood or vegetables, and is accompanied by a homemade sauce (satay, curry, ginger, etc.).

Are your kids picky eaters? Don't worry, the concept is made for them. On their menu, they can opt for a burger, the inevitable nuggets and French fries (chicken or fish), pasta Bolognese or stir-fried rice with egg rolls or gyozas.
