It's perhaps the most unusual news of the 2023 autumn season: from August 30 and for one month, the chef at the French Coco restaurant will be offering a creative, unusual menu made from children's clay creations. Yes, you're not dreaming: head to the French Coco restaurant in the 15th arrondissement, on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays!

Have you ever imagined what your dishes would taste like if your clay creations were cooked for real? Of course, we're not talking about eating the dough itself, but rather imagining what ingredients, textures, herbs or spices would make the dish so flavorful. At the French Coco restaurant in the 15th arrondissement, chef Cyril Davroux will be doing just that for the whole month of September, from August 30, 2023, and we're not done being surprised!

What's on the menu? Discover the surprising"Boulets de canon" starter, with its sweet-and-sour tartlet of fresh fruit balls, mozzarella, avocado, arugula and bresaola. For the main course, you'll find generous spaghetti from the garden, with a lovely portion of spaghetti with homemade green pesto, accompanied by its little sundried tomatoes, stracciatella and pine nuts. Finally, for dessert - and this is perhaps the dish that most reminds us of the texture of modeling clay - discover the red berry and pistachio layer cake. With its different-colored sponge cakes (due to the natural dyes used), it's a real Proust's madeleine, and while it's a far cry from the taste of Playdoh modeling clay, the dessert's superimposed layers are a nod to the latter! The price is €25 for a starter-main course or main course-dessert menu, and €31 for a three-course meal.
