On January 29, 2024, lovers ofspelling and pretty words are invited to the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, on the historic Richelieu site, for a giant, free dictation organized in partnership with the Pilot pen brand, dreamed up by Rachid Santaki. Open to all, the aim of the event was to strengthen the link between the French and the written word, in the heart of the magnificent Salle Ovale, a symbol of reading! After attracting more than 350 participants last time, this dictation awaits you in large numbers, starting at 2pm!
Pilot ambassador Gaël Faye will be on hand to gather the day's literati around the theme of Ôdeà l'écriture, with a first reading of the dictation. A text written by Marie-Hélène Lafon, author of numerous literary awards, on which you won't have to make a single mistake to claim the title of master speller! To register, simply follow this link. The dictation is free, subject to availability (just over 200 places).
So, young and old alike, it's time to pick up the pen, forget the phone and computer for once, and get back to good old-fashioned paper!
