Raclette is THE star of winter! As soon as the cold sets in, we're all in the starting-blocks to begin what many aficionados lovingly call raclette season. It has to be said that there are many fans of melted cheese!
And raclette is the dish everyone agrees on. Much more than a meal, it's a symbol of conviviality and an ode to sharing. Enjoyed by young and old alike, raclette deserves to be celebrated, and that's why there's International Raclette Day, celebrated every December 13.
The great thing about raclette is that it can be enjoyed in an infinite variety of ways! Served with charcuterie or meat cooked in a minute on top of theraclette machine, it can be accompanied by salad, mushrooms and potatoes, of course, but also vegetables only for a vegetarian version.
Ideal for warming up long winter evenings, raclette comes to us from Switzerland. And although temperatures in Paris are milder, we still enjoy warming up in front of a roaring fire with a raclette in front of us! Discover without further ado the spots in Paris for lovers of melted cheese, on the occasion of World Raclette Day 2023.
