With winter on its way and gray days already well established in the capital, it's timefor a little comfort food . As you know, winter means... the start of raclette season. Much to your delight, and ours, we imagine! And what if we told you that, for just 3 days, you could taste Swiss-German specialities, including the unmissable raclette, without even leaving the capital?
From November 16 to 18, 2024, the best of Zurich's food scene comes to the capital. For 3 days, chefs and sommeliers from Zurich 's hottest restaurants and wine bars will share their art de vivre by revisiting traditional Zurich holiday dishes.
This gourmet pop-up will take place in two stages. The first act takes place on November 16 and 17 at the eco-responsible Ventrus restaurant in the Parc de La Villette. On the program, a 6-hand dinner by 3 Zurich chefs: Marius Frehner, Michaela Frank and George Tomlin.
Expect to pay €70 for the menu (with food and wine pairings selected by Édouard Thorens of Zurich bar The Bottle Shop), which includes raclette revisited and a traditional dessert, vermicelli.
The second act will take place at the Bar Principal, in the 11th arrondissement, on Sunday November 17 from 4pm to 6pm. This time, it's all about Zurich street-food from Action Burger. You'll have the chance to taste a new, ultra-gourmet version of their Swiss Action Burger with raclette cheese. First come, first served!
