Introduced into service in 2004, line P of the SNCF transilien network comprises 36 stations in 45 communes on a 252km route. From Paris-Est station, in the capital's 10th arrondissement, it runs to theeast of the Ile-de-France region, crossing the Seine-et-Marne département and extending beyond into the Hauts-de-France region.
At Gare de l'Est, it connects with lines 4, 5 and 7 of the Paris metro, as well as the RER E. With line P, you can discover many of the treasures of the Île-de-France region, including the town of Crécy-La-Chapelle, nicknamed the Venise Briarde, the Vaires-Torcy leisure park with its many family activities, Coulommiers, and the medieval city of Provins, the largest in the region and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
