Just a stone's throw from the French capital, the town of Sceaux in the Hauts-de-Seine department is once again hosting a popular ball, to mark the July 14th festivities for the Fête Nationale! The whole family is invited to take to the dance floor on the eve of the Bastille Day celebration, from 8pm to midnight, while enjoying the magnificent listed site of the Jardin de la Ménagerie. This miniature version of the nearby Parc de Sceaux was conceived in the 18th century and now hosts numerous festive events.
No fire works for this dance party, but plenty of fun and good music for a successful popular celebration. Before letting off steam until the end of the night, you'll have the chance to visit the town, particularly appreciated for its green setting and historic heritage. The 180-hectare Parc de Sceaux was designed by André le Nôtre, the famous creator of the gardens at the Château de Versailles. When the weather's nice and summer's here, it's the perfect place to stroll and picnic among the lawns and ponds!
A beautiful space to commemorate the end of the absolute monarchy with a free ball, open to all, on July 13, 2024!
