To celebrate the Fête nationale, Longjumeau residents are invited to take part in a dance party, and admire the fireworks, this Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Parc des sports Longrenay.

The town of Longjumeau is located in theEssonne region, between the Templiers forest and the Yvette river. This commune has a rich history dating back to the Gallo-Roman period. Its castles and wealthy estates remind us that Longjumeau was home to many noble families, and enjoyed very prosperous and active times between the Middle Ages and the present day. The French Revolution gave Longjumeau a new power: in 1790, Longjumeau became the administrative center of its canton.

And it's to celebrate this revolution that the people of Longjumeau are getting together this Saturday, July 13, 2024. For the 2024 national holiday, the town is unveiling a fine program of festive entertainment. Join us at Langrenay sports park to celebrate July 14 Longjumeau-style. Want to know what's in store? We'll tell you all about it!

For this free evening, Longjumeau is offering eclectic musical entertainment to keep all generations dancing. As is customary, a magnificent fireworks display will also light up the sky that evening. Here's the evening's program in detail:

  • 7pm: Giant picnic and foodtrucks
  • 9:30pm: Opening of the dance floor and music
  • 11:30pm: Fireworks
  • Until 2am: Resumption of dancing
