This year,Mariage Frères is offering not one but two tea-flavored Yule logs for 2023. Both are studded with pretty snow peas, for a couture, romantic look.
The collection is called Christmas in Love! To make these two Christmas creations, the French House has chosen two of its flagship teas: its Christmas tea and its famous Marco Polo tea. Shall we introduce them to you?
A grand Cru of chocolate in a melting ganache scented with the festive spices of Christmas tea and a soft mandarin confit are nestled in a caramelized fleur de sel crunch. The whole is concealed under a Christmas tea and Bourbon vanilla pleat and gold leaf flakes. A delight for lovers of winter flavors. Price: 65€ per log for 6 people
Behind its deep black color with white polka dots, this log contains a cream of marrons glacés flavored with Marco Polo tea. A ganache of Kyoto matcha green tea dances over the bright notes of a citrus confit with yuzu and a caramelized crunch with fleur de sel. And on top, the same scrolls as for the Christmas tea log! Price: €65 per log for 6 people
Note that these Yule logs are available from December 6, 2023, for tasting in Mariage Frères tearooms in Paris, but also for takeaway by click & collect - reservation on 01.46.22.18.54 and on the Maison's website.
